Motorola Verizon Droid first impressions/User Guide
Impressive!
Very solid device.
Something as simple as exposing and covering the physical keyboard is done with an audible and palpable click.
The apps load quickly.
The "Task Manager" is several levels deep: Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage Applications. This permits a "force stop" of applications.
I have several running with no noticeable performance hit.
WiFi setup was a snap.
External speaker works well without distortion.
Slacker (Internet Radio) runs well.
I'm looking forward to getting ePocrates (not yet available) and other programs up and running. See you at the Android store. SV
